This permit regulates disposal of wastewater from industrial or water treatment facilities by evaporation adjacent to water in the state of Texas.

You may be eligible for coverage under this general permit if you plan to dispose of one or more of the following by evaporation adjacent to water in the state of Texas:

• Wastewater from industrial facilities, also known as “facility or process wastewater”, that does not include domestic sewage.
• Wastewater from water treatment facilities.
