The Air Quality Standard Permit for Permanent Rock and Concrete
Crushers is authorized under the Texas Health and Safety Code Section 382.05195
, which authorizes the commission to issue
this standard permit for many similar facilities.

If your facility meets the conditions of this standard permit,
you should be able to answer “Yes” to each of these
questions:
- Is the facility a rock or concrete crusher operating no more
than 2,640 hours in any 12-month period?
- Is the crusher no less than 200 feet from the property line and
no less than 440 yards from any residence, school, or place of
worship?
- Will the throughput be no more than 200 tons per hour?
If your facility complies with the above screening criteria:
- Review the

proposed application for further restrictions and limitations.
- If your facility complies, you may claim this standard
permit.
If your rock or concrete crusher cannot meet the conditions of
this standard permit, you may qualify for other permitting options.
